Mike Breese is a Designer working on Wild Rift at Riot Games; where he has worked on the Elemental Rift update, along with several champions, modes, and systems releases.

Before joining Riot, he worked on Hogwarts Legacy with WB Avalanche.

Mike graduated from the University of Utah’s EAE program with a Masters in Game Production; where he led a team to design and release our IGDA award-winning game Hard Light Vector. His undergraduate degree is in Psychology, focusing on Human Factors and minoring in Philosophy. This has instilled in him a love for iterating on ideas, and tweaking designs until they are just right.

In his spare time, Mike is a bit of a hobbyist making games. He has published a few games on steam and is currently working on an unannounced AAA project.

He has a love of rogue-likes and anything co-op with a focus on team play and coordination.

“I enjoy seeing how people solve problems, particularly when working within a team. I love making games, it puts you right on the cutting edge of technology and art, and I get to work with the most amazingly passionate people.”
